Our Small Business Community
I'm sure everyone says this about their own community, but I find Lancaster to be extra special. As a smaller city, there's endless opportunity for people to support a diverse range of businesses, and Lancaster has a way of supporting and showing up no matter what, while building personal relationships that feel like family.
The Art Scene
Of course, because I'm an artist, this answer should be expected; but, the support I receive from my fellow local artists is like no other. I have made lifelong friends who understand the journey of a working artist. I never thought that I'd be in the position I am, but I'm so grateful to learn, grow, and collaborate with my peers.
Lancaster's Rich History
Being born and raised in Lancaster, I wasn't always aware of the deep history that runs through our city. Learning through the lives of our ancestors and those who came before us, as well as the legacies they left behind, is something I'm truly inspired by. I use this as strength – to carry on that legacy in my own way.
